Our online training module is designed to help you bring a consumer perspective to decision-making. Orientation, workshop and formal courses are also offered by a number of health consumer organisations.

Online Training Module - Guidelines for Consumer Representatives

This online learning module provides an introduction to the role of ‘consumer representative’ and committee procedures for consumer and community committee members.  It includes tips from experienced consumer representatives and learning from CHF’s long history in supporting consumer representation.  From start to finish the module takes approximately one hour, including journeying through some experiential learning stories that allow you to apply some of the suggestions.  You can visit parts of the module, or leave at any time and resume at a later date. Real People, Real Data - tools for capturing consumer stories

The Real People, Real Data toolkit and online tool are great resources to help you to capture consumer stories for particular projects and then analyse and present them to decision makers.
